'Twas days before Christmas, when all through the shelter Not a creature was stirring, not even a toy mouse; The stockings were hung by the cages with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; The kittens were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of kitty crunchies danced in their heads; When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, All the cats sprang from their beds to see what was the matter; When, what to their wondering eyes should appear, But humans filled with kindness and hearts full of cheer! This is our fifth year hosting this Christmas fundraiser and we invite all to come! What’s new this year? Santa’s Pack the Sack Campaign! Santa is stopping by for your private photo shoot and also hopes to Pack the Sack! Help Santa deliver much needed items to our homeless good boys & girls by bringing along with you a donation item from our feline wish list! Want a special star for your photos? Well we got some good food for you!!Pizzeria Piccola will host Second Hand Purrs for a yummy fundraiser on Sunday November 30, 2008. Pizzeria Piccola is located at: 7606 W. State St. in Wauwatosa. Please stop on by to DINE IN OR CARRY OUT between 4pm-9pm. Second Hand Purrs volunteers will be working side by side with Pizzeria Piccola this night to serve you!
