* * * * Mission Statement * * * * Second Hand Purrs is dedicated to the betterment of misplaced felines in the greater Milwaukee area. We will strive to give feline owners and concerned citizens every option above and beyond abandonment and euthanasia. We are progressing towards this mission by providing an additional resource to the community for unwanted felines. By providing shelter to animals, education regarding spaying and neutering and a genuine concern for helping animals and people alike, we will reach out to the community to make it a better place for everybody. In 2007 we adopted out 286 cats and kittens to new and loving homes! Help us make 2008 a bigger and better year for the animals!
